Whole Genome Sequencing for Healthy Individuals
This is the most comprehensive genetic test available - the laboratory has created a report that reviews all American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics recommended genes for secondary finding reporting, as well as findings in genes that may be relevant to proactive and preventative health - genetic risk factors, predisposition to cancer and cardiac diseases, bleeding disorders, carrier status in genes known to be associated with severe and early-onset recessive disease, adult/late onset neurological disorders, and other conditions. Includes pharmacogenomic testing, carrier screening. Raw data available.
This test is for the individual who values preventative and proactive health information, and wants the most dependable and expert interpretation of their genetic data, while maintaining data and health privacy. No uncertain variants will be reported - only those identified as disease causing or likely disease causing (at least 90% certainty).

At Connect Genomics, I only ever offer medical grade genetic testing - meaning genetic testing that is dependable and meets rigorous standards for making medical decisions based on the results - but I do make one exception for Nutrition Genetic Testing for a few reasons:
- There is no medical grade genetic test available, so the next best thing is a reputable research grade genetic test. There is currently only one laboratory that I feel confident recommending to my patients who are interested in this type of information
- The pricing for this test is much lower compared to others on the market
- As a Genate Practitioner affiliate, I receive a further detailed Practitioner Report that I utilize to provide further detail and insight to your results.

I am offering a nutrition counseling sessions for an introductory offer of $150. This will include a pre-test call to facilitate testing, evaluation of your diet using SNP Therapeutic's extensive data collection and interpretation tools, discussion of supplement options and guidance for how to evaluate a supplement's quality and your body's ability to absorb it, as well as considerations of interactions between nutrients, and how your genetic pathways impact this. You'll also receive a recipe e-book focused on improving gut biome health. The laboratory provides the ability for you to meet with a registered dietician familiar with this testing, if desired.
While you can order this test on your own since it is research grade, most people seek guidance to understand how to take action based on their results.
