I provide compassionate and expert counseling services to help individuals and couples in their family planning. I believe that everyone deserves the chance to make informed choices about their options for genetic screening and testing, and I am here to help you achieve that.
There are many options available for carrier screening and genetic testing in pregnancy and I want you to feel empowered and part of the decision of which test you want to have done. Unfortunately, most doctors will not be familiar with the most comprehensive testing options available, or they may be limited by what they are allowed to offer you based on their health system's policies. When you work with me, you will have knowledge of all available testing and be empowered to make the decision that is best for you. I can also order the testing for you as an authorized healthcare provider or with the collaborating physician on my team.

Carrier Screening Counseling for Couples or Individual (pre-pregnancy or during pregnancy)
For individuals or couples who are seeking options for family planning based on carrier screening for X-linked and recessive conditions. Includes ordering of carrier screening and review of results.
Includes 30 minute each pre and post test counseling sessions and testing coordination. Fee: $350 for a couple or $250 for an individual. Cost of clinical carrier screening test is often covered by insurance or self pay price ~$300 per person. Results in 2-3 weeks.
Egg or Sperm Donor Genetics Evaluation
Gamete (egg or sperm) donor screening and risk assessment based on medical and family history and genetic testing overview as well as counseling discussion.
Includes 45 minute session. Fee: $200.
Second Opinion Service
For individuals who have genetic test results and are looking for a second opinion on the results or want to explore their options for further genetic testing. Relevant for carrier screening results, NIPT results, and other genetic testing results. If your genetic test was completed 5+ years ago or if you have variants of uncertain significance noted on the report, this service may be of interest. Does not include ordering of genetic testing, but can be added on as separate service if requested.
Includes 30 minute session after reviewing your case. Fee: $150
Cofertility Clients
For those who are working with Cofertility, I offer a reduced fee consultation for any questions you have about carrier screening results or a potential egg donor's medical or family history.
Includes 30 minute session. Fee: $100
Fertility Genetics
For those who are experiencing infertility, genetic testing is part of a typical work up for identifying a potential cause. This includes a blood chromosomal analysis (aka Karyotype). Karytoype is recommended for couples who have experienced 2 or more pregnancy losses. We are able to identify the cause of infertility in 2-5% of cases through this testing. Testing for Fragile X associated premature ovarian insufficiency, Y chromosome infertility for males, and other genetic testing based on personal or family medical history may also be indicated.
Includes 60 minute counseling session and 30 minute post-test counseling session. Fee: $450
Prenatal Nutrition Genetics
For those who want genetic insights to their nutrition and prenatal supplement considerations, this test provides DNA-based nutrition recommendations for pregnancy related to fetal growth and development. Discover which key nutrients you don't metabolize optimally, helping to support your baby's growth and your postpartum recovery.
Each report provides information on any identified gene variants and how they impact the metabolism of the following nutrients: choline, folate, DHA, betaine, vitamin A, B6, B12, C, D, K, riboflavin, calcium, iron, and magnesium.
